Iran has responded strongly to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent statement threatening to destroy Iran's nuclear sites, calling it a “clear red line” and describing it as open hostility against Iran’s national interests. An unnamed Iranian official criticized the threats, emphasizing that such language undermines diplomatic efforts.

Trump, speaking at the White House, stated that while he favors a strong nuclear agreement allowing inspections and limited actions like destroying labs, no one should be harmed.
