(In US) University of Washington Erupts in Chaos as Antifa Protests TPUSA Event

Antifa, a left-wing antifascist political movement, has wreaked havoc on the University of Washington by setting fires across its campus in protest of a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event

Law enforcement agencies have issued dispersal orders at the university as a result of escalating violence from the Antifa rioters.

Antifa, short for anti-fascist, is a decentralized movement comprising left-wing, anti-fascist, and anti-racist activists. Their primary goal is to counter far-right extremism, often through protests and counterdemonstrations. While some Antifa members engage in peaceful activism, others have been known to use more aggressive tactics, including property damage and street brawling. Despite claims of being anti-fascist, Antifa's methods have sparked controversy and criticism from various quarters.
