Freddie Mercury, the legendary Queen frontman, is making waves in the US after shocking news emerged that the late singer had a secret daughter with whom he had a close relationship until his passing in 1991.

A new biography titled "Love, Freddie," written by Lesley-Ann Jones, alleges that Freddie Mercury's secret daughter was accidentally conceived in 1976 during an affair with the wife of a close friend.

The biography also reveals that Freddie Mercury regularly visited his now 48 year old daughter and gave her 17 volumes of detailed personal journals, which she kept a secret.

The daughter who has now been named only as "B", reportedly currently works as a medical professional in Europe.
