Chappell Roan opened up in a candid W magazine interview about her early romantic experiences, including her first kiss at age 15, saying she usually makes the first move and finds “kissing girls funner.” 

The 27-year-old pop star also spoke about her current serious relationship and reflected on her difficult pre-fame years filled with part-time jobs and determination.

Chappell Roan shared heartfelt memories from her journey to stardom, including auditioning for America’s Got Talent at age 13, where she sang True Colors but didn’t advance.

 She recalled working various part-time jobs, such as in drive-throughs and doughnut shops, just to survive.

 Roan also talked about her musical roots, singing Britney Spears and Christian songs as a child, before ultimately believing she was meant for more.
