(In South Africa) Miss SA's Mia Le Roux Sparks Controversy: Won't Compete in Miss Supranational 2025

 

Miss SA is making waves in South Africa because 2024 winner of the beauty pageant, Mia Le Roux, is currently the subject of displeasure from netizens following a statement that she will not be participating in the upcoming Miss Supranational 2025 pageant months after she abruptly pulled out of The  Miss Universe 2024 competition.

Mia Le Roux has been criticised for her "lack of presence" and "waste of the crown" since her controversial emergence as Miss South Africa 2024.

Reacting to the backlash directed at Mia Le Roux, the Miss South Africa Organisation has released a statement emphatically debunking rumours that the beauty queen pulled out of the Miss Supranational Pageant of her own accord.

The organisation clarified that the decision to not participate in the event scheduled to hold in Poland, was solely an organisational one and had nothing to do with Mia or the runner up, Nompumelelo Maduna.
