(In South Africa) 5 Police Officers Found Dead in Hennops River

 



A grim discovery has shaken the community in Centurion, Tshwane, South Africa, after five bodies were retrieved from the Hennops River over two days, Monday, April 28, and Tuesday, April 29.

Of the five corpses pulled out of the river, three have been identified as police constables who went missing last week when they travelled from the Free State to Limpopo, where they had been deployed.

VW Polo is now trending because that's the police vehicle which has been recovered from the Hennops River, where the bodies of five police officers were discovered earlier this week. 

National Police Spokesperson Athlenda Mathe who confirmed the vehicle's retrieval, stated that the authorities hoped it would be a step into determining what happened on the day the tragic drowning occurred.
