Nigerian singer Skales has captured widespread attention in Nigeria following his strong rebuttal of rumors suggesting he divorced his wife, Precious Hassanity, over allegations that she mocked his music career. A viral post circulating on social media claimed the artist ended his marriage after Precious reportedly joined online trolls in ridiculing his professional endeavors. In a swift response, Skales labeled the report as “evil” and “entirely false,” emphasizing that he never made any such statement. He publicly urged the source of the misinformation to cease spreading lies, seeking to set the record straight and protect his reputation amidst the swirling controversy.

Skales married Precious in 2021 but marital tensions surfaced in 2022 after his mother’s death. He released a diss track that appeared to target his wife, accusing her of lacking empathy. 

He later advised people to avoid marrying heartless partners and requested prayers for his mental health. The recent viral quote reignited public interest, prompting his denial and appeal for responsible reporting.
