(In Nigeria) Seyi Tinubu Accused of Storming National Association of Nigerian Students NANS Inauguration, Threatening its factional President

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) is embroiled in controversy following allegations that its factional President, Abubakar Isah, was subjected to torture and forced to resign on April 16, 2025. According to Abubakar Isah, who claims legitimacy as the association's leader after being elected at the national convention on February 27, the troubles began when Seyi Tinubu, accompanied by heavily armed security personnel, disrupted the association's inauguration ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday. Abubakar Isah alleges that Tinubu threatened his life during the confrontation, leading to a dramatic escalation of the situation. These serious allegations have sparked widespread concern and debate within the student community and beyond, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding Abubakar Isah's resignation and the role of Seyi Tinubu in the affair

Reacting to the accusations, Seyi Tinubu has vehemently denied Isah Abubakar's claims and in an Instagram post, wondered how someone could "lie with so much confidence". Seyi Tinubu also declared that he had never met Isah Abubakar nor did he visit any location with thugs.
