 Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo recently clarified the circumstances surrounding her invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Rumors of her arrest prompted Ojo to release a statement, revealing she was invited to discuss videos of currency abuse at her daughter Priscilla's wedding, where guests sprayed naira and foreign currencies.

The EFCC's attention was drawn to the event after videos of the wedding went viral, showcasing guests mishandling currencies. During her meeting with the EFCC, Ojo explained she wasn't aware that spraying foreign currencies was also prohibited. She took the opportunity to educate Nigerians on the commission's stance on currency abuse, emphasizing that spraying or stomping on any currency is against the law
