Kasmuel McOure has raised concerns that poverty will significantly impact the voting decisions of young people in Kenya's 2027 elections.
He said many youths are so economically vulnerable that they see cash handouts from politicians as necessary, not corrupt.
McOure criticised leaders for sidelining youth in real decision-making and urged reforms to ensure genuine civic education and youth inclusion in governance.

McOure, a key voice in the ODM Youth League, stressed that symbolic gestures are no substitute for real power.
