Gary Neville Banned by Nottingham Forest Over Scathing Ownership Criticism

 

Gary Neville is making waves in global sports because Nottingham Forest banned him from performing his role as a Sky Sports pundit at their final Premier League game at the City Ground. 

This followed his sharp criticism of the club’s ownership, comparing it to a “mafia gang” after disputed refereeing decisions. 

Consequently, Sky Sports moved their broadcast to London, marking an unprecedented ban on the former player in his punditry role.

Gary Neville’s comments back then had triggered a backlash from Forest’s owner, Evangelos Marinakis, who described them as harmful and inappropriate. 

The club even considered legal action against Neville and Sky Sports. 

Despite this, Sky Sports remains dedicated to covering the match, though without Neville’s input.
