CR7 Jr. Joins Portugal Squad for Vlatko Marković Tournament

 



Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the 14-year-old son of football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, has received his first call-up to the Portugal Under-15 national team for the prestigious Vlatko Marković International Tournament in Croatia. The young forward, who currently plays for Al-Nassr’s Under-15 side in Saudi Arabia, is set to showcase his talent on an international stage. 


The tournament will see Portugal compete against Japan on May 13, Greece on May 14, and England, providing Ronaldo Jr. with a platform to prove his potential. 


Coached by João Santos, the Portugal U15 squad consists of 22 players who will undergo training sessions in Portugal and Croatia to prepare for the competition. Ronaldo Jr.’s inclusion marks a significant milestone in his budding career, mirroring his father’s journey, as Cristiano Ronaldo also represented Portugal at the U15 level before becoming a global superstar. The teenager has already shown promise at Al-Nassr, where he has been developing his skills in a competitive youth setup.
