Wisconsin teen killed mother and stepfather and lived with corpses for weeks, prosecutors say:
A 17-year-old Wisconsin teenager, Nikita Casap, has been charged with murdering his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, and his stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51. According to prosecutors, Casap lived with their corpses for two weeks, took video with at least one of their bodies, and eventually fled the state with $14,000 in cash and his stepfather's car. The bodies were found on February 28, bearing gunshot wounds and in a state of decay.
Prosecutors allege that Casap shot his mother at least three times on February 11 and killed his stepfather by shooting him in the back of the head. Casap then continued to live at home for nearly two weeks, attending school the next day and even recording a video of his stepfather's corpse about a week after the murder. The police found evidence of Casap's crimes, including a camera memory card containing the video and location records from his phone showing his flight from the state.

Casap was arrested on February 28 after running a stop sign in Kansas, over 800 miles from his Wisconsin home. He was found driving his stepfather's car, which contained the gun used in the murders, spent shell casings, and his stepfather's driver's license. Casap faces multiple charges, including first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and theft. His preliminary hearing is set for April 9.
