In a display of sheer dominance, reigning U.S. Horse of the Year Thorpedo Anna stormed to victory in the $1.25 million Grade 1 Apple Blossom Handicap at Oaklawn Park. 

The four-year-old filly, trained by Kenneth McPeek and ridden by Brian Hernandez Jr., left her competitors trailing as she crossed the finish line 4¼ lengths ahead, clocking a time of 1:44.27 for the 1 1/16-mile race .

This win marks Thorpedo Anna's second consecutive triumph at Oaklawn this season, following her impressive performance in the Grade 2 Azeri Stakes on March 8, where she secured a 3½-length victory . 

With this latest achievement, her career record stands at an impressive 10 wins from 12 starts, amassing earnings nearing $4.8 million.
