The Boston Marathon saw epic performances!  Robert Cheruiyot of Kenya blazed to victory in the men's race, clocking 2:07:46, becoming only the fourth man to win the prestigious race four times.

Dire Tune of Ethiopia made history in the women's race, edging out her rival by just 2 seconds in the closest finish ever recorded in the marathon’s storied history.
