Gilmore is trending in Nigeria because the skit maker and content creator is currently the subject of amusement following his appearance on

Cruel Santi’s Alté podcast.

In the course of the podcast, Gilmore had obviously struggled with the Alte concept and looked really confused when everyone else on the podcast attempted to give an explanation. 

The skit maker's confusion doubled when he heard the kind of song enjoyed by the Alté community.
