London Marathon Breaks Global Record with Over 56,000 Finishers


 The London Marathon has made history with an unprecedented number of finishers, exceeding 56,000 participants. This achievement cements the event's reputation as one of the largest and most competitive marathons globally.

In the men's race, Kenyan athlete Sabastian Sawe emerged victorious, showcasing his exceptional endurance and skill. Meanwhile, Ethiopian runner Tigst Assefa made her mark in the women's category, setting a new women's-only marathon record that highlights her remarkable talent. The event drew a diverse crowd, including notable celebrities such as Kelly Brook and Shane McGuigan, who participated in the marathon. Despite the presence of activists who briefly disrupted the event with a protest, the race continued without major interruptions, allowing thousands of runners to achieve their personal goals.
