Abike Dabiri is trending in Nigeria because the Chairman of The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) is currently receiving attention for her exchange with VeryDarkMan who issued her a one week ultimatum to return girls trafficked to Ivory Coast into the country.
In response to VDM's ultimatum, the NIDCOM boss slammed him for his ignorance by stating that her agency is in no way involved in matters of trafficking as this is the jurisdiction of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons(NAPTIP).
Reacting to VeryDarkMan's warning to Abike Dabiri, some netizens haven taken sides with the NIDCOM boss and slammed VDM for an "ignorant call out". They have urged him to channel the threats to the appropriate agency, NAPTIP.
Speaking in defense of his criticism of Abike Dabiri, VDM has accused her of nonchalance to the plight of distressed Nigerians in diaspora while asserting that as NIDCOM CEO, it was Madam Dabiri's responsibility to ensure the safety of all Nigerians abroad.
