In Nigeria: Natasha Osawaru Sparks Reactions with ' Nee Idibia' Introduction at Edo State Assembly.

 

Nee Idibia is trending in Nigeria because Edo House of Assembly lawmaker and partner to music legend, 2Baba, Natasha Osawuru made a gaffe at the house plenary today, introducing herself.

She mistakenly referred to herself as "Hon. Natasha Irobosa Osawuru Nee Idibia," using her partner surname "Idibia" instead of her maiden name, Osawuru, in a formal setting, which sparked attention.

2Baba proposed to the Edo State lawmaker in February 2025, weeks after announcing his separation from Annie Idibia.

He praised Natasha as a "young, brilliant, and amazing woman," clarifying she wasn't involved in his marital issues. 

Natasha is the granddaughter of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion.
