Controversial singer Portable has been arrested by the Kwara State Police over serious allegations involving Fuji icon Saheed Osupa. This isn't just another celebrity spat—here's the breakdown.
The police acted on a petition filed by Osupa, alleging criminal defamation, threats to life, incitement, character assassination, and use of abusive words. The weight of these claims led to a court-sanctioned arrest warrant. On April 13th, police operatives travelled to Abeokuta and arrested Portable at 7:25pm. He was brought to Ilorin where his statement was taken in the presence of legal reps. He remains in custody and will be charged to court shortly.

The issue reportedly started when Portable used a line associated with Osupa in his music. After his track was taken down from platforms, he lashed out online, calling the Fuji legend names. Public backlash followed.
Portable later apologised publicly, blaming his temper and asking Osupa to “adopt” him as a son. But with a court now involved, this matter is far from over. The Kwara Police promise fair, lawful handling. More updates soon.
