(In Kenyan) Sifuna Detained for Posts About President Ruto's Family

 

Sifuna, a Kenyan activist, has been arrested and taken to the Milimani Law Courts over allegations of posting offensive content about President William Ruto and his family on social media. 

The prosecution has requested a seven-day detention to complete investigations. According to authorities, Sifuna allegedly used his X account (@Thief_5th, username "I must go") to make the purportedly offensive posts.
