Ghana Mourns: Former High Commissioner Sam Pee Yalley Passes Away

Sam Pee Yalley is trending in Ghana because netizens are mourning the government official's death after a brief illness at The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Sam Pee Yalley previously served as Ghana's High Commissioner to India. He was also president of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professionals Forum.

Following yesterday's announcement of Yalley's death on April 6, Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, was one of the first prominent politicians to express condolences, describing the deceased as a "brother and friend."
