In a passionate address to the team, Okraku expressed his disappointment and frustration over the Black Stars' recent performances, which have left Ghana's 2025 AFCON qualifying hopes hanging by a thread.

Okraku's words served as a wake-up call to the players, emphasizing the importance of pride, passion, and desire when donning the national jersey. "The minimum I expect, the minimum Ghana expects, is a team of boys or men who will show passion and desire to play for our country," he stressed.

The GFA President's message was clear: the time for excuses is over, and it's time for the Black Stars to deliver. Okraku reminded the players that representing Ghana demands aggression, commitment, and a will to win.

Ghana's recent results have been underwhelming, with a shocking home loss to Angola and a 1-1 draw against Niger leaving them with just one point from two matches. These results have piled pressure on the team and raised concerns about their ability to qualify for the 2025 AFCON.

With the Black Stars facing Sudan in back-to-back qualifiers on October 10 and 15, Okraku's warning could not have come at a more critical juncture. The matches represent a make-or-break moment for Ghana's qualifying campaign, and the team must respond with conviction.

Okraku's address has sparked a renewed sense of urgency and determination within the Black Stars camp. The players will be eager to prove themselves and restore pride to the national team.

As Ghana prepares to take on Sudan, the football fraternity and fans will be watching with bated breath, hoping the Black Stars will rise to the challenge and revive their AFCON qualifying hopes.

"We need to see a team that is hungry, a team that wants to win, a team that will give everything for the jersey. The time for jokes is over; it's time for serious business."

The Black Stars will face Sudan on October 10 in the first leg, followed by the return leg on October 15. Ghana must secure positive results in both matches to reignite their qualifying campaign.
