The closure of Cubana Chief Priest's fast food restaurant occurred just a few days after the businessman and restaurateur was involved in an online altercation with food critic Opeyemi Famakin, over the food critic's review of the burger served at a branch of the fast food restaurant located in Owerri, Imo state. Opeyemi Famakin had stated in his now viral review that the Owerri branch of Donald's had served him a microwaved burger instead of preparing it a la carte (on demand). Cubana Chief Priest had reacted to the negative review by stating that Opeyemi Famakin had requested that the burger be microwaved, he had also accused the food critic of trying to sabotage a business opened in the name of his six year old son.
