Ini Edo Announces Secret Fairytale Wedding

 Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ini Edo, has in a post that has aroused curiosity of her fans and followers, announced that the first part of her three part wedding has taken place and the next date would be on 20th October 2024. The film star who accompanied her rather cryptic post with a photo of herself clad in the traditional Ibibio attire, revealed that the relationship started six months ago when she unexpectedly crossed paths with the yet unnamed "love of her life". Ini Edo further encouraged anyone who had given up on love to remain patient, as love would find them. Ini Edo's first marriage which took place in 2008, was to businessman Philip Ehiagwina and their divorced was finalized in September 2014. In 2021, Ini Edo welcomed a daughter, Light, via surrogacy.

Despite Ini Edo's cryptic post and unrevealed identity of her partner, the public has speculated for months that she was involved in a romantic relationship with fellow Nollywood actor, IK Ogbonna, who was previously married to Colombian language translator and PR executive Sonia Morales, with whom he shares a son, Ace. Neither Ini Edo nor IK Ogbonna has publicly confirmed any form of romantic relationship between them.
