This bombshell has led to the EFCC launching an investigation into the bribery allegations involving its personnel, Bobrisky, and Otse. The EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has ordered a probe and summoned both Bobrisky and Otse to assist in the investigation at the EFCC's Lagos Directorate .

The investigation aims to clarify the case and address concerns regarding corruption within the EFCC. It's worth noting that Bobrisky had faced charges related to naira abuse and money laundering, and had pleaded guilty to four counts before the court .

Falz Threatens Legal Action Against VeryDarkMan Over Defamatory Allegations

Rapper Falz has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to social media activist VeryDarkMan, demanding a retraction and apology over defamatory allegations. VeryDarkMan had accused Falz of colluding with Bobrisky to secure a presidential pardon for N10 million while Bobrisky was in prison.

In a letter to VeryDarkMan, Falz vehemently denied the allegations, stating that it was Bobrisky who reached out to him seeking assistance to pay N3 million to prison officials for a VIP section. Falz claimed he declined the request.

Falz's legal team asserts that VeryDarkMan's accusations are false, malicious, and damaging to Falz's reputation. They demand:

1. Immediate retraction of the defamatory statement
2. Unreserved apology within 24 hours
3. Failure to comply will result in legal action

This development adds another layer to the controversy surrounding Bobrisky's prison ordeal and alleged bribery claims. The outcome of Falz's ultimatum and potential legal action will be closely watched.

The situation has sparked heated discussions, with some calling for the EFCC Chairman's resignation due to the agency's perceived ineffectiveness in tackling corruption. The EFCC's reputation is on the line, and the outcome of this investigation will be crucial in restoring public trust .
