Video: Zinoleesky's Latest Appearance Leaves Nigerians Concerned

 A now viral video of singer, songwriter Oniyide Azeez, better known as Zinoleesky, is currently cause for concern on social media. The video of Zinoleesky who seemed to have lost a great deal of weight, has left speculations on a seeming abuse of hard substances. Reacting to the video, some netizens have remarked that Zinoleesky seemed to have towed of the route of the hard substances and fervently that he be taken into rehabilitation. Other netizens have also wondered if the singer was suffering health challenges that requires public intervention.

Zinoleesky's rise to fame began with the launch of his debut album Chrome Eccentric featuring hit tracks like "Ma Pariwo" and "Kilofeshe." Zinoleesky found his love for music during his adolescence, initially venturing into freestyle rap. However, his breakthrough came in 2017 when his videos gained viral traction online, propelling him to popularity. Several reports showed that he was offered a record deal by Davido's DMW label but refused to accept the offer and chose to work as an independent artist. On 23 December 2019, he was signed to the record label "Marlian Records" which is owned and managed by Nigerian singer and record label boss, Naira Marley. Zinoleesky released his debut studio album titled Chrome Eccentric in 2020, a year after signing with Marlian Records. The album comprised six tracks, including the songs "Mapariwo" and "Kilofeshe". In September 2020, Ma Pariwo ranked as No. 14 on Apple Music Chart and No. 12 on YouTube Chart.
