Video: Protesters Converge in Various Parts Ikeja

 Following wide publicity given the #EndBadGovernance protest which has commenced today, protesters in Lagos have converged at Ikeja Underbridge to express their grievances regarding the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration. The protesters, wielding placards, gathered at the government house located in the Alausa area of Ikeja as well other area such as the Ikeja Underbridge and the popular electronics market, Computer Village.

The protest which is currently peaceful, has the heavy presence of armed police officers and other security personnel. Many of the protesting Nigerians have stated that will not succumb to any form of intimidation or attempted bribery and have taken to chanting various songs expressing their displeasure at the government and the current economic situation in Nigeria. The protesters also informed the press that many of them are homeless citizens who slept under the Ikeja bridge as a result of their inability to afford the rising cost of housing in Lagos.
