 Following the withdrawal Chidinma Adetshina from The Miss South Africa 20#4 beauty pageant as a result of controversy surrounding her true nationality and the subsequent invitation to participate in The Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 beauty pageant, the model has emerged winner of the competition. Chidinma who represented Taraba state in the just concluded pageant which held earlier today, 31st August 2024, was crowned winner of the pageant to the elation of Nigerians.

Chidinma Adetshina's emergence as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 has led to an ongoing extensive trolling of South Africans various media platforms by Nigerians who have vowed to exert revenge over South Africa's rejection of Miss Adetshina and their abrupt solidarity with Miss Kwara in a bid to manipulate the pageant's voting poll. Chidinma Adetshina's win has been declared a solid victory not just for the newly crowned beauty queen but for all Nigerians across social media platforms who have been consistently engaged "e-wars" with South Africans in the last few weeks. On 16 November 2024, Chidinma will be representing Nigeria at The 73rd Miss Universe pageant scheduled to hold at The Arena CDMX located in Mexico, Mexico City.
