Looters Allegedly Set Fire to New Park in Kano

 Minister of Communications Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani, has taken to social media to decry the looting and setting ablaze of a yet to launched Digital Innovation Park in Kano state. The minister who accused protesters in the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest of the vandalism, revealed that the building was set for launching next week.

Dr Tijani stated that The Digital Innovation Park's inaugural activity would have been the hosting of a "buildathon holiday maker" programme created for secondary school children in the state. Lamenting the wasted millions with which the project was constructed, the minister wrote that the park would have generated job opportunities for the youths. He however mentioned that the looting and fire incident were " slight setbacks" with the state resolute on its course to deepen the workforce for technology.
