Video:D'Banj Pays Courtesy Visit to Sanwo-Olu

 Singer and songwriter Dapo Oyebanji, better known as D'Banj, on Thursday 15 August 2024, paid a courtesy visit to governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The visit was ahead of the singer's release of his collaboration album titled "The Entertainer" with his former record label boss, Don Jazzy. In the course of his visit, D'Banj presented a commemorative plaque marking the album’s launch to the governor. Today Friday 16 August 2024 is date slated for the album's release.

Governor Sanwo-Olu's Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, took to the social media platform X to share a video depicting D'Banj's visit to the State House. The video was accompanied with photos of D'Banj presenting the commemorative to governor Sanwo-Olu. In the Special Adviser's Words: "Between Governor #jidesanwoolu and #iamdbanj earlier today. Dbanj called Mr. Governor ‘the real Koko Master.”
