Former president of The United States America and current presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has survived a presumed assassination attempt after what sounded like shots rang out at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The attack which left the presidential aspirant bleeding on his ear, is being investigated as an assassination attempt, with one member of the audience and the shooter believed to have died. Before Donald Trump was whisked away by his security team, he victoriously pumped his fist and gave shout to the rally attendees. Many Americans have however suspiciously referred to the attack as "staged".

President Joe Biden is set to address the nation following events in Pennsylvania. While it's not yet clear when or where the president will deliver his remarks, Mr Biden released a statement a short time ago saying he was "grateful" that Donald Trump was safe, and that he was praying for him.
