Singer and songwriter Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, better known as Simi, is currently the recipient of social media backlash following her choice of outfit to an event. The singer was trolled for wearing a swimsuit with a plunging neckline despite her marital status. Simi is married to fellow singer, Adekunle Gold also known as AG Baby and they have one daughter, Adejare.

Reacting to the trolling and reminder of her marital status, the singer sarcastically stated in a video: " I just came here feeling repentant. Guys, yesterday I went to the swimming pool wearing a swimsuit and I’m so sorry. Honestly I wasn’t thinking. I should have known better. I didn’t know better. I’m sorry. Next time I go to the swimming pool, just in respect to my husband I will wear a kaftan. I will do better. Better than the best. I don’t want to disappoint you and give you any reason to look down on me and my marriage.”
