Video: Rema Performs at Indian Billionaire Wedding

 Nigerian singer and songwriter, Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, on Friday 12 June 2024, performed his hit song "Calm Down" at the wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani, son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant. His record label, MAVIN shared the video of his performance on their X handle on Friday.

Rema is rumoured to have received the sum of 3 million dollars for his performance with the high society event also witnessing the performance of other global stars like Justin Bieber, who reportedly received $10 million for his performance, and Rihanna, whose fee was not disclosed. The wedding which took place place at the Jio World Center in Mumbai, was a four day extravaganza which had in attendance celebrities and influential personalities from all walks of life. Reality TV stars Kim and Khloé Kardashian, and former UK PMs Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, were among the international guests. Also spotted was US wrestler and actor John Cena, who was seen hugging and congratulating relatives of the host.
