Peter Obi Threatens Bayo Onanuga with Lawsuit

 Former governor of Anambra state and The Labour Party's presidential candidate in The 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, has via his solicitors, issued a letter to presidential Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga, demanding a retraction of his statement in an interview on Channels Television alleging that the former governor and presidential candidate was an anarchist who worked in support of terrorists and encouraged his supporters to embark on protests in the country.

Mr Obi's solicitors gave the Special Adviser a 72 hour window to tender an unreserved apology in not less than four national dailies(and his X handle) in addition to the request for a retraction. Mr Bayo Onanuga was informed by Mr Peter Obi's solicitors that consequent on his defamatory claims, the presidential candidate was demanding the monetary sum of five billion naira as damage for the embarrassment caused Mr Obi and his family by the special adviser's allegations.
