Nigerian Doctor Breaks Guinness World Records for Longest Painting

 A Nigerian doctor and visual artist named Fola David, who's currently creating the world's largest painting, has broken The Guinness World Records of 629.98 square metres, held by Ravi Soni from India. The artist who broke The World Records on the fourth day of his ongoing attempt at The Onikan Stadium in Lagos, has the intention of getting over 1000 square metres of canvas covered in drawings before 21st July, 2024.

In recognition of Dr Fola's ongoing largest individual painting attempt, support and goodwill have poured from his alumni The University of Lagos that presented him with an award of honour and merit, Labour Party's presidential candidate in the 2023 elections Mr Peter Obi, 2023 Guinness World Records holder for Longest Cooking Marathon Hilda Baci alongside other celebrities and dignitaries.
