Mohbad's Family Conducts Second Autopsy

Two months after a long awaited autopsy result failed to determine the exact cause of death of rising music star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba professionally known as Mohbad, his relatives have conducted a second autopsy. The autopsy, ordered by Ms T.A. Shotobi, Magistrate of the Coroner Court, is part of an ongoing investigation into the cause of the artist’s death. This latest development follows a court order from June 26, 2024, allowing Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, to commission an independent autopsy by a licensed and certified pathologist. The court mandated that Mr. Aloba bears all costs associated with the examination, evaluation, and autopsy.

Monisola Odumosu stated that the family would proceed to carry out toxicology and histology tests on the necessary samples already obtained if the post-mortem procedure failed to reveal the cause of death. Widow of the deceased singer, Wunmi Aloba, was represented by her legal team and assigned pathologist who observed the autopsy procedure on her behalf.
