Music promoter, talent manager, entrepreneur and politician, Ubi Franklin, has during a Question and Answer (Q&A) session with his fans and followers in Instagram, spoke of his feelings for his ex-wife and mother of his son, Nollywood actor Lilian Esoro. The music promoter who was pointedly asked by a follower of he was still in love with his ex-wife Lilian, asserted that they had a son together and as a result, love would always live there. Ubi also revealed in an answer to another question that he had definite plans of getting married again.

Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro tied the knot on 1st November 2015 and their son, Jayden, was born on 17 July 2016. Shortly after the birth of their son, Lilian filed for divorce in a Lagos High Court but it was denied. Franklin then filed in Abuja, and after years of back and forth in court, their marriage was officially dissolved on 28 January, 2021. Ubi Franklin presently has three other children (two daughters and a son) from his relationships with other women.
