LASG Seals Homes for Environmental Pollution

 The Lagos State Government has sealed two houses where two occupants were caught throwing trash in the flooded area. The culprits  resident in the Ikate local government area of Surulere, were unknowingly captured carrying out the environmental pollution during the day's heavy rainfall.

Responding to the photo evidence, the Lagos State Commissioner of Environment, Tokunbo Wahab, affirmed  that the house in question had been identified and immediately sealed by the Environmental Health Service Department of the Itire-Ikate LCDA. Netizens have commended the commissioner for his swift response to the report on environmental pollution and urged Lagosians to desist from adding their own form of pollution to the current flood situation being dealt with in the state. Lagos residents have also been encouraged to report any of such cases with evidence to the appropriate authorities, in order to lessen the problem of flooding in the state.
