Nollywood actor, lawyer and politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has in a statement, expressed his loss of faith in the Labour Party's presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Mr Peter Obi. The actor turned politician revealed that while he's irreversibly committed to a great Nigeria, he needs a solid party with a solid grassroot base to wrestle power from the clutches of the ruling party.
Making reference to Mr Peter Obi for whom he served as spokesperson of his presidential campaign, Kenneth Okonkwo stated that he and the entire country are in need of a decisive, selfless and brave leader to stand up to the corrupt parties. The former presidential aide further declared his desperate search for such a leader with the commensurate charisma and bravery to mobilize the people in order to sustain any victory acquired through public votes. Kenneth Okonkwo also reminisced on the loss of The Labour Party at the electoral polls in the presidential election of 2023 after a much publicized and anticipated victory.
