Gabon's President Urges Dangote to Invest in his Country

 President of Gabon, Brice Oligui Nguema, has urged Nigerian billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, to come invest in Gabon. The president encouraged the entrepreneur to invest in the cement and fertilizer industries, specifically urea and phosphate production”. The invitation to Aliko Dangote by the Gabonese president was publicly revealed in a statement by the media office of The Dangote Group. The news of this invitation comes after The Nigerian government accused the entrepreneur of monopolizing the oil sector in Nigeria and in rebuttal, Alhaji Dangote urged The NNPC to buy The Dangote Refinery.

The statement released on Tuesday 23rd July, by The Dangote Group regarding the investment invitation from President Nguema further asserted that The Gabonese president "expressed enthusiasm about the potential partnership, highlighting Gabon’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for foreign investments." The statement also highlighted other ways a collaboration between Gabon and The Dangote Group would significantly change the Gabonese economy.
