Dele Momodu Writes Open Letter to Doyin Okupe

Following the open letter written to president Tinubu by Dele Momodu, the publisher has once again dipped his pen in his social media ink by writing another letter to medical doctor and former presidential aide, Doyin Okupe. In his post, Dele Momodu called out the presidential aide for his abrupt shift of allegiance from The Labour Party and its presidential candidate in the 2023 elections Peter Obi to current president, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It will be recalled that Doyin Okupe served as director-general of the Obi-Datti presidential campaign before his abrupt resignation in January 2024.

Accusing Doyin Okupe of defending a profligate government despite the obvious economic hardship in the country, Dele Momodu compared the former political aide's constant tendencies to shift his loyalty to the behaviour of political analyst and social commentator, Reno Omokri. The publisher observed that Doyin Okupe has since 1999 defended all leaders of the country (from Obasanjo to Buhari and now Tinubu) until he seems them no longer able to fulfill their purposes in his life.
