The presidential candidate declares the upcoming protest "Day of Rage" with the hashtag #RevolutionNow.

Omoyele Sowore also chose 5th August 2024 as the appointed date for his "Day of Rage", a date which marks the 5th anniversary of his #RevolutionNow initiative. The politician and publisher who received a stern warning from The Department of State Security (DSS) at the time he planned his June 12 protest, has urged Nigerians to have no fear of the Nigeria Army, Nigeria Police Force or The DSS, as none of these agencies can stop the time. Omoyele Sowore fervently implored Nigerians to emancipate themselves from slavery.
