Adultery Saga: Pastor Tobi Adegboyega Slammed with 1 Billion Naira Lawsuit

A few months after footballer Olarenwaju Kayode, accused his now estranged wife Ezinne,of having an affair with clergyman, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the footballer has now petitioned a court for the dissolution of his marriage. He also slammed Pastor Tobi Adegboyega whom he claimed fathered the children born by his wife Ezinne, with a 1 billion naira lawsuit for alleged emotional trauma, financial loss and the loss of goodwill incurred by the footballer on account of the pastor's adulterous relationship with his estranged wife, Ezinne.

In his cross-petition at The Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Abuja, Olarenwaju Kayode also sought custody of the three children he had earlier alleged to have been biologically fathered by Pastor Tobi Adegboyega. In addition to claims of connivance and abandonment, the footballer accused his estranged wife of repeatedly commiting adultery with the pastor as well as other men since the beginning of their marriage in the year 2013. Ezinne and the Pastor Adegboyega-whose primary residence is The United Kingdom- are the Respondents and Co-Respondent in Olarenwaju’s cross-petition dated 1st July, 2024.
