 Fans and followers of Nigerian singer and record label boss Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley and self-acclaimed father of the Marlian movement, have decided on starting the process of forgiving the singer over his alleged involvement in the death of rising star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba professionally known as Mohbad. The reason for this softening towards Naira Marley is thanks to the release of his song titled "Giddem".

The song "Giddem" marks Naira Marley's grand comeback to the music scene after public criticism and a near cancel culture following Mohbad's death and subsequent accusations of his emotional and physical abuse towards the late Mohbad. Former Marlians and followers seem so impressed with the song that their affection for Naira Marley is being reawakened.
