Video: Fake Ash Luxe;Lyta Releases Clapback Song

 A few weeks after he was publicly called out on social media by Ash Luxe CEO Yinka Ash, for wearing a fake T-shirt of the luxury clothing brand Ash Luxe, Nigerian singer Babatunde Rahim better known as Lyta, has released a new diss song titled "Ash Luxe". In his new song, the singer defended his choice to wear whatever he preferred as his funds were limited as a struggling young man. Ash Luxe luxury streetwear T-shirts typically retail between 150 and 250 dollars.

Lyta is a former member of YBNL Nation, a record label owned by musician and record producer, Olamide. Lyta left the label in May 2019 after a contractual disagreement with Olamide whereupon he publicly claimed to have never had a written agreement with the record label. The singer reveal in an interview that he had been paid between 50 and 80,000 naira to participate in shows while being flaunted as a YBNL Nation signee.
