Sharon Ooja Ties The Knot In Traditional Ceremony

The traditional marriage ceremony of Nollywood actor Sharon Ooja and her partner, is holding today, in Abuja, the nation's capital. The ceremony comes three months after Sharon announced her engagement and subsequent civil ceremony in March 2024 with a video of herself and mystery fiancé whom she referred to as her "Odogwu Silencer" and whose face she chose to not reveal to the public. Some of the brides colleagues in attendance at the occasion and a part of her bridal train include: Nollywood actors Bisola Aiyeola, Jemima Osunde and Ini Dima-Okojie. The women were dressed in glamorous attires in the same shade of green.

Sharon Ooja Egwurube is from the Idoma tribe of Benue state. She was born in Kaduna State and started her acting career when she moved to Lagos in 2013. Sharon who gained public attention for her role as "Shalewa" in the web series Skinny Girl in Transit, was listed as a top female celebrity of 2020 and a Nollywood actress to look forward to in 2024.
