Author, media aide, social commentator and controversial political analyst Reno Omokri, has taken to the social media platform X, to share his thoughts on the difference between wealth and celebrity. The controversial analyst used the wedding ceremony between Davido and Chioma, CHIVIDO24, which occurred on 25th June 2024 and attracted influential Nigerian personalities from all walks of life, as an illustration on the difference between wealth and celebrity.

Reno Omokri emphasized that being a celebrity does not mean having wealth because being a celebrity means being celebrated but not necessarily elevated while wealth means being celebrated and elevated. The social media commentator urged Nigerians to focus on making money and not just on being a celebrity because having serious money automatically translates to celebrity status but celebrity status does not always translate to wealth.
