Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede while speaking on the podcast TheHonestBunch hosted by radio personality, Nedu, has highlighted events that led to the end of her marriage to colleague, Olakunle Fawole better known as Abounce. The actress while speaking plainly stated that her ex-husband had been in the habit of ignoring her after a couple's spat and in the course of her pregnancy, had gone as far as ignoring her for three weeks this leading her to realise that her marriage had come to an end. Yvonne Jegede confessed that in addition to Olakunle Fawole's knack for being malicious, she had shouldered most of the financial burden in the course of their marriage and despite the divorce, her ex-husband had never provided financially for their son.

Yvonne Jegede and Olakunle Fawole got married in February 2018 but separated less than a year after the marriage.Yvonne who confirmed the end of the marriage on 6 March 2019, in an interview with Pulse Nigeria, claimed that in the marriage, the two seemed to not be on the same page or had in fact, been reading "different books". Olakunle Fawole who is a filmmaker and actor nicknamed Abounce, is the son of late veteran actress Bukky Ajayi, who passed away in July 2016 in Surulere, Lagos.
