Nigerian singer Babatunde Rahim better known as Lyta, has been called out by CEO of Ash Luxe brand, Yinka Ash, for wearing a fake Ash Luxe T-shirt. Lyta posted photos of himself wearing the T-shirt and tagged the brand, leading Yinka Ash to warn that he would not hesitate to call out anyone he spots wearing imitations of his brand. Ash Luxe luxury streetwear T-shirts typically retail between 150 and 250 dollars.

Lyta is a former member of YBNL Nation, a record label owned by musician and record producer, Olamide. Lyta left the label in May 2019 after a contractual disagreement with Olamide whereupon he publicly claimed to have never had a written agreement with the record label. The singer reveal in an interview that he had been paid between 50 and 80,000 naira to participate in shows while being flaunted as a YBNL Nation signee.
